WINDOWS XP PRODUCTIVITY BUNDLE - INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS ====================================================== YOUR ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS (XP 64-BIT + BROWSER) ------------------------------------------------ To use the browser on XP 64-bit: 1. First install SnipeOffice 64-bit using the bundle (SnipeofficeXP-64Bit.zip). 2. Download the browser setup file (do not run it yet): 5-SnipeBrowser-140.0.7339.127-win-x86-xp-setup.exe 3. Right-click the setup file, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab (OCA compatibility), select Windows 10, click Apply and OK. THEN double-click the file to run the installer. 4. The browser does NOT need Windows 10 at runtime. The installer does NOT truly need Windows 10 either - but on XP 64-bit SP2 the installer sees a potential bit mismatch. Selecting Windows 10 on that tab fixes that for the install phase only. 5. The actual browser does NOT need any special One-Core API setup after install. SnipeOffice already installed system-wide OCA. The Windows 10 setting is ONLY for the browser install wizard on XP x64 SP2. DO NOT run the SnipeBrowserBundleXP-32bit.zip one-click installer on XP 64-bit. That bundle is for 32-bit XP SP3 only. Running it on x64 can destroy the system. OS REQUIREMENTS --------------- Windows XP Professional x64 : Service Pack 2 required (for SnipeOffice + browser on x64) Windows XP 32-bit : Service Pack 3 required (for SnipeBrowser bundle only) SnipeOffice 25.8 x64 does NOT run on 32-bit XP.
